The Nepalese Society of Student Researchers (NSSR) is a nonprofit, youth-led membership organization established under the Companies Act, 2063 of Nepal. Dedicated to fostering a vibrant research culture in the country, NSSR seeks to nurture aspiring researchers and create a conducive environment for academic inquiry and innovation.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between student researchers and established academics, providing a collaborative platform that promotes dialogue, mentorship, and scholarly engagement. Through this initiative, NSSR aspires to enhance academic excellence and make meaningful contributions to Nepal’s scientific and intellectual advancement. At the heart of our efforts is a commitment to empowering the next generation of scientists with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to thrive in both national and global research landscapes.
NSSR further recognizes that the pursuit of scientific understanding should not be confined to academia alone. To this end, we are actively engaged in promoting scientific literacy across all strata of Nepalese society—empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to think critically, engage with scientific knowledge, and make informed decisions in their everyday lives.
